Contact Information
In order to provide services, Haywire does collect full names, email addresses, phone numbers, and physical addresses of customers. This information is used to contact customers for support related issues, verify the identity of a customer, and to electronically send billing notices. Your contact information is not sold to or shared with any 3rd party. Customers may request changes or corrections to contact information by engaging Haywire support.
Financial Information
Haywire does collect financial payment information such as, but not limited to, credit cards and Automated Clearing House (ACH) accounts for individuals who directly purchase services from Haywire. Haywire does keep a log of all payment transactions. Haywire does share this data with our payment processing partner Stripe, only as required to process payments.
A customer’s contact and current payment method information is available for viewing in the customer portal. Current payment method information may be updated by a customer at any time during their active service period.
Website Cookies
Electronic Cookies are used by the Haywire public facing site as well as the customer portal. Haywire uses these cookies for authenticated session tracking on our websites as well as for identifying website visits for marketing purposes. Your cookie information is not sold to or shared with any 3rd party.
Network and Device Information
In order to provide high quality internet services to our customers, Haywire may collect information about the devices connected to the Haywire network, nearby networks, as well as the sites and services customers visit on the internet while on the Haywire network. Haywire does not sell or share network and device information with 3rd parties.
Network Traffic
In order to effectively manage the Haywire network and to meet legal obligations, Haywire may log certain data related to a customer’s intranet and internet activities. Haywire may collect the following information related to network traffic; Domain Name System (DNS) queries, IP addresses of websites visited, ports and protocols used for inbound and outbound connections, and quantity of data sent and received. Haywire may utilize and forward DNS query information to third parties to improve DNS query resolution speed for our customers.
Connected Devices
When a device is connected to the Haywire network, either through a wired or wireless connection, Haywire may collect information to identify it on the network as well as performance metrics to aid in monitoring and troubleshooting of performance issues. Device hostname, IP address, signal strength, radio band usage, MAC address, and connection duration may be logged by Haywire. Additionally, nearby Wi-Fi access point names and radio band usage may be collected in order for Haywire to optimize Wi-Fi operations for our customers.
How long we retain your data
Unless otherwise stated for a specific type of data, Haywire may retain all types of data indefinitely.
Legal Disclosures
Haywire shall allow access to all customer, network, and device information necessary to comply with applicable laws, warrants, subpoenas, or court orders.
